The Ortus Club runs corporate events, executive knowledge-sharing discussions and roundtables, globally. We provide a neutral, pitch-free environment focused on creating a relaxed atmosphere for decision-makers to come together and share their experiences on specific topics.
Each session is typically hosted over a three-course meal or online and can be either industry-specific or cross-sector. Our goal remains to inspire knowledge-sharing amongst executives by providing ideal environments to build meaningful business relationships.

The Ortus Club was founded by Sam Adcock and Jess Circi in 2015. After noticing how difficult, costly, and time-consuming it was for companies to build business relationships with the C-suite, they created an environment where senior executives could network and share knowledge in a neutral, pitch-free environment.

TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA - Dunia hiburan malam sepertinya tak pernah sepi di kota metropolitan Jakarta ini. Buktinya, ada satu tempat lagi yang bisa dijadikan untuk bersantai, menghilangkan penat akibat kerja seharian di kantor.
Namanya M-Club, sebuah tempat kongkow sambil menikmati berbagai minuman dan mendengarkan musik power yang menghentak berada di wilayah pertokoan Inkopau Grand Cakung, Jl Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX Blok A no 27-28 Ujung Menteng, Jakarta Timur.
"Nama ini tidak ada hubungannya dengan M-Club yang pernah berjaya di wilayah Blok M Jakarta Selatan era 90-an," ungkap pemilik M-Club, Kristianto T Karisoh.
Menurutnya, M-Club, tempatnya ini sangat aman dan nyaman jadi pilihan utama bagi para pencari sarana hiburan (entertainment-red) di Ibukota Jakarta.
"Kami baru buka empat bulan, disini, tempatnya sangat strategis," jelasnya.
Diakuinya, M-Club meskipun berada di wilayah pinggiran atau perbatasan. Yang terpenting, bisa memberikan sarana lengkap, demi mencari keseimbangan hidup untuk melepaskan kepenatan.
"Di sini tak cuma tersedia sarana cafe, bar, lounge, beer garden dan karaoke saja. Tapi ada juga resto yang bisa menyediakan menu makanan ringan," kata Kristianto yang berprofesi juga sebagai penasehat hukum ini.
M-Club menerapkan konsep serba lengkap.
"Pengunjung tak perlu ke mana-mana. Di M-Club sini semua serba ada, jika kepengen punya pilihan dalam bentuk hiburan,” selorohnya.
Pria enerjik yang juga dikenal sebagai pengacara Ibukota, mengaku terinspirasi memiliki usaha di bidang entertainment (hiburan), karena didasarkan felling bisnis yang memiliki prosfeks bagus ke depan. Dan, itu sangat diyakini betul, kelak bisa sukses dan akhirnya meraih profit alias keuntungan.
“Ya, dulu kan, saya cuma sebagai penikmat saja. Tapi, sekarang harus mengelola atau punya sendiri,” imbuh pria berusia 55 tahun, asli asal Manado (Gorontalo) tersebut.
Beberapa program pun telah disiapkan manajemen M-Club, seperti mendatangkan discjokey (dj) handal dari luar negeri.
"Agar tamu kami tidak merasa bosan, kami pun ada program mendatangkan dj dari luar negeri. Minggu lalu kami mendatangkan dj dari Rusia, Sedangkan tempat untuk santai di luar M-Club, kami pun menyediakan tempat outdoor, tempat santai sambil mendengarkan alunan vokal dari penyanyi yang setiap malam menghibur tamu yang sedang santai dengan suasana outdoor," jelas Kristianto.
Dikatakan Kristianto, untuk operasional, M-Club buka sejak pukul 11.00 WIB. Namun efektif pengunjung mulai datang sekitar pukul 17.00 WIB untuk bersantai ria. Berbeda dengan di lounge, pengunjung yang datang biasanya di atas pukul 22.00 WIB. Mereka bisa menikmati dentuman musik disko aroma musik Selatan-Utara dan juga R & B.

As we reflect on the activities and triumphs that The Ortus Club experienced in 2023, it’s hard not to feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. This year was marked by a remarkable expansion of our portfolio, as we successfully hosted events in 45 new cities, including Nashville, Seoul, Antwerp, and Zurich. With 45 new clients joining our fold and 74 repeat clients, we’re thrilled to see our testament to strengthening relationships manifest in an even more diversified client base.
The Ortus Club has been bustling with growth and development. The team expanded significantly, with 32 new members joining our ranks and bringing new perspectives to the table. This year also saw 55 dedicated team members stepping up the ladder with well-deserved promotions. We also celebrated a new milestone in team involvement by introducing 5 first-time internal Masters of Ceremonies for our events.
